As a proud Welshwoman with a deep appreciation for culture and the arts, I’ve always sought accommodations that blend comfort with local charm during my travels. Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at a beautifully renovated hotel in Monpazier, just a stone's throw from the picturesque central square. My stay was enhanced by the hotel’s thoughtful amenities, including comfortable beds, a complimentary bottle of wine, and a well-appointed bathroom featuring a glorious drench shower. Despite visiting in December, I found the spaciousness of my suite and the original fireplace warm and inviting. The staff were attentive and welcoming, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. Although the pool was unheated due to the season, its tranquil setting with sun loungers provided a peaceful escape. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied, wishing I could have lingered longer in this enchanting locale.
